Kate's Memorial Weekend
31 May 2010
Friday I came home to this. Fever (103), cough, vomiting. Talked to jerky on-call peditrician who said, "This could be an ear infection." OF COURSE...since we go to the doctor every two weeks these days.
Saturday we took the show on the road...to the ER. Fever (106.7), cough, vomiting. Jerky ER doctor said, "You brought her in for a fever; I will treat the fever." This after I tried to explain two breathing treatments and antihistamine she is on as well. Chest x-ray and urine cath followed. UTI. New drug added to the mix PLUS the Tylenol/Ibuprophen (generic, of course, since the recall) to get fever down.
Saturday night at home. Same deal. Sunday, she played a little in the day. Sunday night...the same as the others. Monday morning...same. Do I sense a pattern??

"Aunt" Martha and Kate were reading a book on colors. However, when I passed by several times, it had been turned into a book on Shapes, objects, and other educational things that made my head spin. Pentagon was the buzz word of the night. I don't know if they were talking in code, but either way, my daughter had a great homeschooling lesson! And she liked it!
