Ezra and Kate spent some time together today. I think Ezra knows he can run away (though a thigh like Kate's could keep a man down).

Saturday night, at the annual Concert on the Lawn, Kate sampled her first sugar-free cherry shaved ice. She thinks she might start going to more outdoor events if they serve these treats!

Kate has been having a splendid time with Deanna, her "sitter." Not only will she ride in her BOB (for over 3 miles without crying), but she sleeps in her carseat and drinks juice. I guess it is because I am not around. Deanna captured these pictures today. It seems as though Ezra and Kate bonded quite a few times today. After Kate's bath, Ez wanted to make sure she looked alright before getting dressed. I don't even know what to say about the other photos other than Kate sure had a good time (and Ez is quite a good sport since she seems to be eating his ear). Thanks, Deanna, for letting me see what Kate is doing while I am off teaching the youth how to speak, read, write, dance, and not kill each other. Yeah, right.

Kate and I went to Nashville to see Elizabeth, Kate's cousin, who is more like her aunt! Ouiser, Elizabeth's dog, was so sweet with Kate and even helped clean the sweet potatoes off her face while I was getting a cloth (yes, she was eating on the floor so she was in Ouiser's space). Ouiser also wanted to know what was in Kate's diaper bag. We had a great time though there are no other pictures to prove it. Thanks, Elizabeth!
