Kate and Marci. We went to the softball game and Kate hung with Marci. Marci taught her all bad tricks that are super fun: chewing gum, drinking out of a Diet Coke bottle, filling the empty bottle with rocks and shaking it, and hanging out under the hand-dryer in the bathroom! Cool stuff for a 2-year-old who loves Marci.

I got a new camera, so better pictures should be coming. These were a test run as the camera was only 2 hours old to me at the time. Wish me luck!

Teaching skills

Kate is learning to help in the kitchen. Where help means "I do it." Which means I don't cook much anymore!

Sweet Drake. It was Kate's bean bag. It is now Drake's pillow.

For Christmas, Kate received a sidewalk chalk implement. I saved it until spring and finally pulled it out the other day to see what it could do. Kate has enjoyed playing with the "rake" and has decorated our driveway and my mom's patio.

She only takes a quick moment to yell at Drake. Multi-tasker!

I can climb up and down all by myself at Aunt Martha's house!

Kate has three trikes, not including the two at the babysitter's house. She loves being on the bike and is learning how to make them move. Sometimes she peddles; other times, the Fred Flintstone method is applied. Either way, she will need a helmet once speed becomes an issue.
