gettin' old

Since day one up here this year, Drake's hips have not been kind to him. This year, it is not rudder tail. I am not sure what it is, but I got some prescription anti-inflammatories to see if that would help. I don't know that it did. Poor guy just wants to swim -- from sun to to sun down. It has been really hard on him. I have let him (each time against my better judgement...and each time with him wimpering on the way in) because I know how he wants to go.

He still has good lift off the dock, but I think this is his last swimming year. Poor guy, getting old stinks!
