Kate began her first day at Southern Oaks as a First Grader mid-August. She was lucky enough to have her Kindergarten teacher move up with her whole class, so the first day anxiety was nonexistent. Jack was excited for Kate's first day as well, and he wanted to pose with her.
A quick selfie in her classroom and she was off to assembly to get ready for the next school year. Girlfriend picked her dress, her hair, and her hot new messenger bag (complete with monogram) for her year.
She also died for sneakers. And mom thought she needed them, so she sported those for her first day as well!
A day of rain brought out the rain boots for both kids and puddle jumping was on the schedule.
A weekend pool day found Jack eating some snacks poolside, ready to jump back in in his floaties!
Jack's first day of preschool with Wade. They were too engrossed in cutting the fruit to pay much attention to me for a picture.
Nighttime reading now involves Jack some nights. Obviously this was not a story he wanted to hear!
Our spider gal is still hanging out with the tomatoes.
The tobacco is keeping Jack quite interested. OK, maybe it's the tractors.
Daddy had a birthday and I had two helpers.
Fall flags are flying.
