The Ides of March and more

19 March 2014

Aunt Fran got Jack the PERFECT hat for his birthday. We call him this, and j.crew must have known!
I am working on hairstyles for Kate.  Practicing my fishtail, so the babysitters have nothing on me.  :-)
We received the nicest note about Kate from her Principal.  What a great effort by Mrs. Humphrey to write us and let us know she, too, thinks that Kate is pretty special.  Kate has been working on getting the highest color on the daily behavior chart, and she has gotten several over this month.  That is huge, and we are so proud of her leadership and desire to be her best at school.
Norman spent the weekend with us after I got back from Florida.  He thinks the couch is his bed.
He does morning duty on the front stoop as well.  Never fear; he can't hear.
Check out those numbers, baby!  Jack's two year appointment!  Last July, he was in the 17th percentile for weight.  Yeah!
My girlfriend has been getting great scores on her tests.  I am surprised each week by what she has learned and what words she is adding to her spelling, reading, and vocabulary.  We can no longer spell words we don't want her to hear; she knows most of them!

 Norman cuddles.
Kate went with me to pick up Mom on her plane ride back from Florida.  She made a sign for her that morning, and she held it proudly.
Matt's birthday present to me.  I am in love...with him and the knife!
Jack had to wear my ear warmer when we took Norman for a walk.
 Happy St. Patrick's Day!

 Mom and Jack eating pistachios.
Jack still does not want to paint at school.

Great Job Kate on all the test results and leadership. Jack, you're growing up and getting it together. How about eating some steak with grandpa?????
