November Neuroses

13 November 2014

November was filled with the fact that we had bought a house and were going to be moving.  This was a quick thing, and we needed to pack, purge and enjoy the time we had left on the farm.  As I cleaned out Jack's toys, he felt the need to line up the whole lot of them and play with all cars, trucks, tractors, diggers, and planes.  He could spend hours laying with these and just running them forward and back on the carpet.
We went to a fun Sunday party down at the Austin's house where the kids ran, played, and ate.  Jack and Axel enjoyed hanging on the tractor and eating their snacks.
Kate cooked her hot dog and s'more and enjoyed the fire.
I took Jack home for a nap, and Matt sent me this picture of Kate getting ready to go up for a spin in Mike's plane.  They flew over the river and all around.  What a fun afternoon for Kate!
This guy is the silliest I have been around.  He brings constant joy (and exhaustion) to us.
Kate made a feather to go in the turkey for her classroom.  There is a "K" in the middle.  What a fun home project.
Jack got sick, and Drake knew it.  He kept checking on him while he was on my lap, and each time, Jack would give him a quick rub.
Jack made it back to school and, I hate to say it, proved once again that he has a sister at home and he likes her stuff, too.  Here he is sporting a fabulous dress-up dress.
Jack got another haircut - and this time he was not so happy about it.
Kate, on the other hand, really wanted to get some inches cut off, so I let her get about three since she still has to have a bun for the Nutcracker.  She is happy about the length though she wants shorter after.
Chips and cheese...it's what's for dinner when you are sick and it is all you want...or so Jack says.
Matt and Rusty went to a Mississippi State football game and had a great day of weather and fun.
We had a surprise snow, and Jack loved watching it fall and giving reports.
