Camp friends

19 June 2012

My good friend JJ and her family were up for the first week of our visit.  We intentionally came early so we could see them as I had not seen JJ since the 100 year reunion at camp, and it was high time we got back together.  JJ was putting her oldest daughter, Jane, in camp for Intro camp, so that left two others to play with Kate -- Caroline and Waitman.  One day's forecast called for rain, but it never seemed to come.  Tired of waiting for rain, Kate and I hopped on the pontoon and went to pick up JJ and the kids.  The hubbies were golfing, and Susan graciously volunteered to keep Jack at home.
We floated for awhile on the lake while the kids played with lines and princesses on board.  This left time for JJ and I to catch up and the kids were contained/confined as well.  We went to eat at Ernie's and the kids played in the play area while we, again, enjoyed some adult conversation.
This is Jane who was not with us due to getting her experience at CLH.
JJ, Scott, Waitman, and Caroline.  The kids were ready for a nap this day.

Another night we went on their boat to the yacht club game night/pizza party.  These kids became fast friends, as expected!
JJ got a little bonding time with Jack as well.
