After arriving at the lake, jj and I met up with the kids to eat at GVL, because what could go wrong with five kids who have been traveling all day? Nothing, that's what! OK, maybe they were a little "ants in their pants" -ish, and maybe Jack rolled on the floor a couple of times, but other than that, things were solidly good. After a stop in the arcade and a quick ride with Garfield, we headed home for a good night's sleep.
Jane even joined Jack on the car for a minute.Jane, Caroline, Jack, Kate, and Waitman. Acted like they had known each other all their lives.
We have been to the park a couple of times. Kate and I thought this would be the best place for Jack - contained inside the dome!
Jack likes all of the "vintage" toys, and he runs from one apparatus to the next.
A pretend nap session.
Grilled cheese for lunch. And parmesan and garlic chips. YUM!
Singing into a flashlight with Aunt Mary's cowboy hat on at Ted and Mary's, because...why not?
A play day at the GVL pool and waterslide because the weather has not been great.
And Jack in his t-shirt and diaper instead of a swim diaper, which was totally ok!
And a stop at the Chocolate Ox for Superman ice cream. Notice the blue lips and teeth.
Kids in a candy shop!
A nap for my "not tired" girl.
The thinker. In her sweatshirt and nightgown. Because we can at the lake.
Jack saw a duck at the end of the dock and picked up the net like he was going to catch it. I let him think he actually had a chance.
Rock throwing.
checking it all out.
Grandma took Jack on a walk and they ran into Babe the blue ox.
Sign making for JJ's party.
First pontoon ride of the season!
