Here comes Peter Cottontail

07 April 2012

I promised we would dye eggs.  Out of twelve, nine didn't break while boiling.  So, we did nine eggs, about as many as we needed with our attention span (and I mean both Kate's and mine).  The pink was so light it wasn't even pink, which was sad because pink is the ONLY color for easter eggs.  Jack awoke right as we started the process, so we let him cry it out on the table in the bouncy chair because, well, that's what babies with RSV and a desire to be held 24/7 do when they are not getting what they want.  It didn't affect Kate or the eggs.  They weren't the prettiest eggs, but in 15 minutes, what do you expect?  And girlfriend was happier about calling herself the Easter Bunny and putting up ears for the pictures than showing her eggs.  Whew!
