Springy Spring break night

03 April 2012

We finally got out!  We went to a local school playground so that Kate could get some energy out (and there weren't other kids there for Jack to "infect").  Beautiful weather had only been watched out the window for most of break -- that had to stop!  So, we loaded up and went Tuesday night.
Once again, watching Kate try new things and be braver than before, was neat to see.  She wanted Daddy's help a couple of times, but each time, her confidence improved.  She is my girl -- hesitant at first for sure.
Jack hung out in the Baby Bjorn and seemed to enjoy himself as much as a coughing baby can.

I just had to include more pictures of the one-month old boy as his hair is still there (and he looks like an old man).
At the playground, Matt suggested we drive to Island, KY, to the Dairy Freeze.  Never one to turn down greasy burgers and soft serve ice cream, I was all in.  Kate, too.  Jack?  Just along for the ride.  Literally.
It is time to put a rattle in the diaper bag for Mr. Jack.  The mini m&m
