outside babies

07 May 2013

When Kate got on her bike this year we realized two things:  she is too old for training wheels and she is too tall for this bike.  Thanks to Mom, we solved the height issue and Kate got a new bike.  The other was solved by the bike guys saying to take the pedals off and let her start balancing and pushing with her feet.  We did that for a couple of weeks and girlfriend was off!
This booster seat was Fran's when she was little.  We still use it; I am sure the safety is still the same.  Whenever it is inside, Jack MUST sit in it.  He pulls it off the chairs to sit in it.  Don't know why.

 Helping sweep at mom's.
 Helping Kate with sidewalk chalk.
My big five-year-old showcasing her new tricks...and hairstyle.
 Hot-stepping Jack.
 John Deere riding.

Helping Carolyn with the bubbles at Mom's house.
The new bike.  So proud of this little lady!
Carrie Sampson came to visit and these were the work crews I assigned her for her visit.  Six raised beds and four pots.  She was excited and we were studly women when we showed up at Lowe's and hauled 16 bags of dirt to our pick up truck.
